Colts host WR Terry McLaurin before NFL Draft

It was reported last week that Ohio State wide receiver Terry McLaurin would be visiting the Indianapolis Colts ahead of the 2019 NFL Draft.

That visit took place Tuesday as the speedster made his rounds at the team’s facility. With a need at wide receiver, McLaurin is likely going to be on the Colts’ radar, especially given how his skill set fits in the offense.

The Colts have some upside in their wide receiver room, but they also have plenty of question marks. Outside of T.Y. Hilton, the group consists of many unproven names. This could likely force Indy to use a Day 2 pick on a wide receiver.

It isn’t exactly clear when McLaurin will go in the draft. He’s likely in the range between the Colts’ two selections of No. 59 and No. 89. Though anything can happen on draft day.

McLaurin wasn’t overly productive during his time with the Buckeyes. His best season was 2018 when he recorded 35 receptions for 701 yards and 11 touchdowns while averaging 20.0 yards per catch.
