Colts HC Frank Reich to make donation to Eagles autism challenge after losing bet to Doug Pederson

Doug Pederson strikes again, and Indianapolis Colts head coach, Frank Reich is the culprit. After losing a friendly bet with Coach Pederson at the American Century Championship golf tournament, Frank Reich will make a donation to the Eagles Autism Challenge per the teams’ official website.

“It’s a great competition. Fun to compete against Frank,” Pederson said Sunday after signing his scorecard. “What’s best is that there is a donation coming to Eagles Autism Challenge.”

“Back in Philadelphia, I gave Doug a run for his money a couple of times, but he is clearly the better player,” said Reich, the offensive coordinator under Pederson on the Super Bowl LII-winning team. “More importantly, I’m thrilled to make this donation because I know firsthand the great work that Eagles Autism Challenge does.”

Pederson easily beat Reich, by a score of 20 to -24.

This is the second summer in a row that Pederson has earned money for the Autism Challenge via a wager. Last year, Pederson defeated Saints head coach Sean Payton and Payton made a $5,000 donation to the Eagles Autism Challenge.
