Colts’ full injury report vs. Chargers in Week 1

The Indianapolis Colts officially released the injury report with designations Friday ahead of the Week 1 opening matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Colts ruled out two players who didn’t log a practice all week, which comes as no surprise. Here’s a look at the Colts’ injury designations for the Week 1 matchup:

Name Position Injury Wed. Thurs. Fri. Game
Jabaal Sheard DE Knee DNP DNP DNP OUT
Jonathan Williams RB Rib DNP DNP DNP OUT
Devin Funchess WR Back LP FULL FULL
Kenny Moore II CB Thumb LP LP FULL
Jordan Wilkins RB Ankle LP LP FULL Questionable
Clayton Geathers S Non-injury DNP FULL
Kemoko Turay DE Neck LP DNP Questionable
T.Y. Hilton WR Non-injury DNP
Anthony Castonzo OT Non-injury DNP
Justin Houston DE Non-injury DNP

With Sheard out, the Colts will turn to Al-Quadin Muhammad, rookie Ben Banogu and Turay—who is questionable with a neck injury. Wilkins is likely the one to slide into the RB3 spot with Williams ruled out.

Turay and Wilkins are the two questionable players, though the latter has a better chance of playing given that he was a full participant on Friday.

Moore II appears to be good to go despite dealing with a thumb injury. He will likely wear a club as he did all week in practice.

The Colts and Chargers are slated for a 4:05 p.m. ET matchup on Sunday at Dignity Health Sports Park.
