Former Indianapolis Colts linebacker Najee Goode signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars, the latter announced Wednesday.
Goode, 29, signed a one-year deal with the Colts during the 2018 offseason. A major contributor on special teams, the veteran was looked up to as a leader in the locker room, especially coming off of a Super Bowl win in the previous season.
Though he wound up only playing 6.1% of the team’s defensive snaps during the 2018 season, Goode led all Colts in special teams snaps playing 78% throughout the regular season.
Goode played in all 16 games while leading the team with 10 special teams stops and one interception.
