Former Indianapolis Colts safety J.J. Wilcox has agreed to terms with the Atlanta Falcons on a one-year deal, the latter announced Monday.
Wilcox signed with the Colts toward the end of the season on Dec. 18, 2018. With so many injuries to the entire room, he was needed to fill in some depth along the defensive backfield.
Wilcox only wound up playing two regular season games with the Colts (Weeks 16-17), but he did start opposite Clayton Geathers during the AFC divisional round matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The former third-round pick will now join his fourth team since the 2017 season after spending the first four years of his career with the Dallas Cowboys.
