Colts’ Frank Reich calls Jacoby Brissett ‘The Answer’

The Indianapolis Colts will be searching for the solution under center after Andrew Luck’s abrupt retirement, and head coach Frank Reich feels he knows who the answer is.

Though he wasn’t referring to Allen Iverson, Reich called Jacoby Brissett “the answer” to the Colts’ dilemma following Luck’s retirement.

Ever since they acquired him in a trade with the New England Patriots ahead of the 2017 season, the Colts have been enamored with Brissett’s skill set and ability to run the offense.

The 26-year-old will get his chance to be the starter for good with Luck hanging up the spikes. He hasn’t started a game since the 2017 season when he completed 58.8% of his passes for 3,098 yards, 13 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

The Colts begin their first week of the regular season with Brissett as the starter, and Reich has no doubts in who can be the answer to the dilemma Luck put in front of the team.
