Colts’ final pick order entering 2019 NFL Draft

The Indianapolis Colts are preparing for the biggest event of the offseason as the 2019 NFL Draft finally arrives Thursday night from Nashville, Tennessee.

Though they are subject to change (almost likely), the Colts will enter the draft with nine total selections over the course of the next three days. Here’s a quick reminder of the picks:

  • Round 1 – No. 26 overall
  • Round 2 – No. 34 overall (from NYJ)
  • Round 2 – No. 59 overall
  • Round 3 – No. 89 overall
  • Round 4 – No. 129 overall
  • Round 4 – No. 135 overall (comp)
  • Round 5 – No. 164 overall
  • Round 6 – No. 199 overall
  • Round 7 – No. 240 overall

There is a very high chance the Colts make some deals at some point during the draft that will change the order of their selections. General manager Chris Ballard has mentioned several times how he has an affinity to add picks.

Even if the order stayed the same, the Colts have a chance to truly add some valuable talent to an already promising roster. They have three selections in the top 60 and four in the top 100.

Depending on the board, any one of those picks above can be traded. That goes for the first-round pick as well, especially if Ballard doesn’t have a great feeling about which prospects are left on the board late Thursday night.

With nine picks, the Colts will have a chance to continue their rebuild while addressing some needs with valuable prospects throughout the draft.
