Colts’ Eric Ebron:’I respect the Jaguars, but we’re not losing the AFC South this year’

While the Indianapolis Colts did win the AFC South, there was one big blemish on their regular season in which most would assume they would want to take back. If you picked Week 13’s 6-0 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars as your answer, you’re probably right.

Clearly, that loss may have gotten the attention of one of Indy’s best players in tight end Eric Ebron, who singled the Jags out when making a statement about the Colts winning the AFC South.

Truth be told it’s a little hard to gauge if Ebron was trying to single out the Jags as the Colts’ top competition, or throw shade at the Houston Texans, but again, the Jags did manage to kill one of their win streaks. In fact, not only did they end a big-time streak by the Colts, but they also extinguished the Colts’ red-hot flame as they scored a whopping 173 points during the streak.

Regardless as to how Ebron really feels, the Jags definitely will be aware of his statements when the regular season starts. After all, the Colts also embarrassed them Week 10 despite the end result being a score of 29-26. Ebron was a big part of that dismantling as he accumulated three catches for 69 yards, which was good for a 23 yard per catch average on the day and he also had two receiving touchdowns. That said, the battle between the two rivals may be more intense than ever, but that’s what makes the football season exciting.
