Colts elevate WR Ashton Dulin to active roster

The Indianapolis Colts elevated wide receiver Ashton Dulin from the practice squad to the active roster and waived cornerback Ryan Lewis, the team announced Friday.

With the status of wide receiver T.Y. Hilton doubtful for the Week 4 matchup against the Oakland Raiders, the Colts needed some type of transaction to add some depth to the wide receiver room.

Dulin was an undrafted rookie that signed with the Colts this offseason and has been with the team ever since. He was waived during the roster cuts but immediately signed to the practice squad. The Colts are already down Devin Funchess and now likely Hilton for Sunday’s game.

Lewis was claimed by the Colts after he was waived by the Buffalo Bills during the roster cuts in August.

The Colts also announced that they signed running back Bruce Anderson to the practice squad, filling the spot of Dulin.
