Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Deon Cain has a lot on his mind as the team continues through organized team activities and eventually veteran minicamp. He’s fighting for a role in the offense, but something much more important will be on his mind as well.
Cain posted to Twitter on Sunday morning that he is soon to be the father of a baby boy.
The former Clemson product has been rehabbing from the torn ACL that claimed his rookie season in 2018. The former sixth-round pick is expected to be ready for training camp if all goes well with the process.
What role he will have in the offense remains to be seen and will likely come to fruition throughout training camp and the preseason.
While he works through all of that, the arrival of his son will certainly be on his mind.
