Colts confirm joint practices with Browns during preseason

The Indianapolis Colts were in talks with the Cleveland Browns to hold joint practices during the preseason, and it has now been confirmed following the release of the 2019 preseason schedule on Friday.

Ahead of their matchup during the second week of the preseason, the Colts will host the Browns for multiple joint practices. The dates and times for both the joint practices and the preseason game have yet to be announced.

The team also announced that the joint sessions at Grand Park Sports Campus in Westfield will be free and open to the public.

There is a shared history between the general managers of the two teams. Colts general manger Chris Ballard worked under Browns general manager John Dorsey during their respective time with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Both the Browns and the Colts are expected to be among the most exciting teams to watch during the 2019 season, especially after the former made the blockbuster trade to acquire Odell Beckham Jr. from the New York Giants.

Joint practices are always a fun time to gauge where each team is at, and there should be no shortage of fireworks between these two teams.
