Colts can begin padded practices at training camp

The Indianapolis Colts have officially entered the part of training camp that allows them to throw on the full pads and get physical as they prepare for the expected start of the 2020 season.

As the league tries to navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic, the Colts have had just two players get placed on the COVID list and none since the month of August started.

But the Colts are now allowed to throw on the full pads rather than just the helmets and shoulder pads. This is also the part of training camp that allows for full tackling, but it remains to be seen how much the Colts will be doing of that on Monday.

The Colts are preparing for a big year. They have a chance to compete for the top spot in the division thanks to several of the moves they made this offseason such as signing Philip Rivers and trading for DeForest Buckner.

And now, we will (sort of) get to see them working in full pads for the first time on Monday.
