Not only did the win improve the Colts’ divisional record to 3-0 this season, but it also kicked off their crucial stretch of upcoming games with a much-needed win. The dominating victory ended a two-game skid.
The Colts dominated the trenches all game long. The offensive line paved the way to 264 rushing yards as a team, which included two 100-yard rushers. The defensive line was stout in bottling up Leonard Fournette, and they harassed quarterback Nick Foles with consistent pressure.
This win over the Jaguars was important for many reasons. Ending the two-game skid was a major necessity. The Colts didn’t look like themselves in recent weeks. It was nice to see a refreshing game where they dominated upfront.
