Colts as Super Bowl contenders? Pat McAfee says ‘lock it in’

The Indianapolis Colts are going through their bye week fresh off the upset win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 6, and the expectations have been raised greatly.

There is still a whole lot of football left for the Colts to play, but former punter Pat McAfee believes Indy has the talent to win the Super Bowl in 2019—especially after their stunning win against the Chiefs on the road.

On ESPN’s ‘Get Up’ program, McAfee looked dead into the camera and said, “The Indianapolis Colts can win the Super Bowl this year. I am saying it. Lock it in.”

The Colts a lot of football left, and they have a chance to take the division in the second half if they can find some consistency on both sides of the ball. Staring at a 3-2 record coming out of the bye, it should an exciting final 11 games.

Only time will if the Colts can compete for the Lombardi Trophy, but McAfee is buying in after the win against the Chiefs.
