Colts are now 7.5-point favorites over Bengals in Week 6

The Indianapolis Colts (3-2) and Cincinnati Bengals (1-3-1) almost had to reschedule the Week 6 matchup at Lucas Oil Stadium, but the game will be played as planned on Sunday.

Thanks to a quartet of false-positive COVID-19 tests early on Friday morning, there was a bit of a scare that the game would have to be rescheduled. But the game is expected to be played barring any setbacks.

And despite opening the week as eight-point favorites, the Colts will enter the weekend as 7.5-point home favorites in Week 6, per BetMGM. The total still sits at 46.5 points while the Colts MoneyLine is at -385.

After losing a tough matchup against the Browns in Week 5, the Colts have a chance to bounce back against a Bengals team that has a promising future but also one that has struggled to add to the win column.

The Colts should be able to get after rookie quarterback Joe Burrow with a solid pass rush against an offensive line allowing the most sacks (22) and the second-highest sack rate (9.6%) in the league.

It also helps that the Colts believe rookie running back Jonathan Taylor is coming off of his best game, which can go a long way in controlling the tempo of the matchup and winning the way they want to win.

This should be a game the Colts win if they don’t beat themselves, and Vegas is in agreement with that sentiment given the line they’ve given this week.
