Colts are now 2-point underdogs vs. Steelers

After some injury news hit the Indianapolis Colts (10-4) late in the week, they will now be underdogs heading into the Week 16 matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers (11-3).

Though Indy spent the entire week as two-point road favorites over the Steelers, they are now two-point road underdogs, per BetMGM. This is almost certainly the case as the Colts will be without both starting tackles on the offensive line.

The total for the game has also gone down from a 44.5 over/under to 42.5 points.

The Colts had to place right tackle Braden Smith on the reserve/COVID-19 list while left tackle Anthony Castonzo was ruled out due to a new ankle injury.

This is trouble for the Colts because their depth on the offensive line isn’t strong. And that is going to be emphasized when they visit the NFL’s best pass-rushing unit. The Steelers lead the NFL in both sacks (47) and pressure rate (33.3%).

After the Raiders blew a chance at a win on Saturday against the Dolphins, the Colts now face this game as somewhat of a must win. Should they lose this game, the chances of them making the playoffs will be slightly lower.

Regardless, the Colts will be without their starting two tackles and that has directly impacted the odds leading up to Sunday’s matchup at Heinz Field.
