Colts are now 2.5-point favorites over the Titans in Week 8

The Indianapolis Colts (3-4) find themselves as home favorites over the Tennessee Titans (5-2) entering the weekend ahead of the divisional matchup at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Earlier in the week, we posted that the Colts opened the week as underdogs to the Titans. That was incorrect. Instead of opening as 1.5-point underdogs, they were actually favored. But seeing as how I’m apparently still struggling with basic reading comprehension, we wrote it the other way—so apologies for that.

Regardless, the Colts will now enter the weekend as 2.5-point favorites at home over one of the hottest teams in the NFL, per Tipico Sportsbook.

Spread Moneyline Total Points
Tennessee Titans (5-2) +2.5 +115 O 51.5

Indianapolis Colts (3-4) -2.5 -140 U 51.5
-115

This is expected to be a close game throughout despite the outcome of the first matchup between these two teams in Week 3. Colts quarterback Carson Wentz is much healthier this time around while playing at a very high level.

The Colts are also expected to see the return of right tackle Braden Smith, who has been out since Week 1 due to a foot injury.

The Titans have been one of the hottest teams in the NFL. They’re currently on a three-game winning streak and have won four of their last five. Three of those wins came against the Ravens, Chiefs and Bills, which is an impressive feat.

The Colts will be focused on stopping Derrick Henry and the Titans offense while their own offense is hoping to post 30 points for the third consecutive game.
