Colts’ Andrew Luck, Tom Hanks meet at military veterans event

In some ways, Andy and Woody met officially for the first time on Wednesday.

At an event for the Elizabeth Dole Foundation at The Children’s Museum, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck and actor Tom Hanks, who plays Sheriff Woody in “Toy Story,” met for the first time but talked as if they were old friends.

The two shared some jokes as they signed autographs at the event, which highlights the Hidden Heroes program, focusing on the caregivers of military veterans.

Luck snuck in a comment saying he’s too old for social media, which is true given that despite being 29 years old, he doesn’t have any known form of social media and still uses a flip phone.

Though Luck isn’t currently participating in OTAs due to a calf strain, he is set to be re-evaluated next week.
