Colts’ Andrew Luck favored to lead NFL in passing TDs

Until proven otherwise, there is a lot of optimism surrounding the outlook of the 2019 season for Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck.

He’s been listed in conversations for the MVP award as well as being predicted to lead the league in a few passing categories. That continued this week as Luck was listed as the favorite to lead the NFL in passing touchdowns—along with Patrick Mahomes—per Bovada.

Here’s a look at the top odds for that prop bet:

  • Andrew Luck +450
  • Patrick Mahomes +450
  • Matt Ryan +700
  • Aaron Rodgers +900
  • Baker Mayfield +1400
  • Ben Roethlisberger +1800
  • Philip Rivers +1800
  • Tom Brady +2000

Luck has the supporting cast necessary to accomplish a feat of leading the league in passing touchdowns. He has immense red-zone options in Eric Ebron, Jack Doyle, Mo Alie-Cox and potentially Devin Funchess.

He also has some wide receivers that could help him add to his total from outside the red zone—with speedsters T.Y. Hilton and Parris Campbell.

With training camp just two weeks away, the optimism surrounding Luck’s campaign is extremely high, which is completely understandable given how many things appear to be going right for the 29-year-old.
