Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck and his wife, Nicole, are expecting a child.
The 29-year-old quarterback married his college sweetheart this offseason in Prague, and now the couple is expecting their first child, per WTHR-TV.
“It’s probably the most exciting/terrifying thought or idea and it certainly feels more real every day,” Luck told WTHR on Friday. “I hope I could do all right. (There are) a lot of people to lean on for advice and we’ll see what happens.”
Luck and his wife met at Stanford. The quarterback often cites his wife as someone who helped him get through the difficult 2017 season, which he missed because of shoulder surgery.
Luck is coming off of his most efficient season in 2018. His completion rate (67.3 percent) and passer rating (98.7) were career highs, while he threw the second-most touchdown passes (39) in the league behind only Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs.
