Colts’ Andrew Luck (calf) ready to go for training camp

As expected, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck will be ready to go for training camp after missing the entirety of the spring due to a calf injury.

Despite missing all of the spring workouts, the Colts maintained that the injury wasn’t serious or long term and that the reason they held him out was purely out of precaution.

With veterans set to report Wednesday before the start of training camp Thursday, Luck will be ready to go, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

The Colts did make some moves with a duo of injured players on Monday. Wide receiver Daurice Fountain was placed on the Non-Football Injury list (NFI) while defensive end Carroll Phillips was placed on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list.

The Colts are set to officially begin training camp on Thursday at the Grand Park Sports Complex in Westfield.
