Colson Smith spills 10 stone weight loss secrets in Bored Of Being The Fat Kid

Corrie star Colson Smith shared the secrets to his 10 stone weight loss in new documentary Bored Of Being The Fat Kid.

Cameras were rolling while the Coronation Street star, 22, started his biggest mission yet which was to completely transform his looks.

He blew fans away with his 10 stone weight loss.

On-screen his character Craig Tinker goes through a huge transformation while off-screen Colson has been doing all the work.

Behind the scenes, the actor invited his legion of loyal fans to take a look at how he shed the pounds in his new documentary.

Admittedly the TV personality confessed he had never liked the way he looks.

The actor decided to make a change to his life in order to feel good about himself inside and out.

He said: "Me not being fat and not looking the way I look it's me trying to change everything about my life to start again to make me feel good about myself.

"Never liked the way I look, I've never been content.

"It was quite a challenge to get me right while everything going well. Always seemed impossible."

As his character Craig loses weight, Colson has pulled off the transformation in the real world.

He added: "Craig is to undergo a transformation... I have to do it too.

"I want you to watch Craig lose weight on telly, I will show you how Colson has done it in the real world."

His relationship with food has completely changed since he embarked on a healthy diet and gruelling exercise regime.

In a big revelation, Colson said he was "self-harming himself with food" and admitted he probably had an eating disorder.

He said: “A hell of a lot better than it was.

"I had a very bad relationship with food. It was negative. It was bingey. It was probably an eating disorder. It was self-harm. But I talk about that more in the documentary.”

The documentary drops June 2.
