Colourful Dublin Pride pop-up shop has all the essentials from flags to accessories

A Dublin Pride shop has popped up on Duke Street (just off Grafton Street) and offers everything you could need when celebrating this Pride Month including flags, t-shirts, badges and much more.

Additionally, the shop acts as a community space where a variety of events take place and is even complete with a stage and plenty of room to sit or mingle.

The Pride Hub is open from 10am until 6pm every day except for Sundays when it opens from 1pm until 5pm.

Cultural Programming and DIB Training Manager at Dublin Pride Christelle Gebhardt told Dublin Live: "The Pride Hub is basically a pop up shop and a community space that we have over the summer. We opened it last month and it will stay open until July 15.

"Downstairs is an event space. We had Charlie Bird in last week to present him a book.

"We're also running Trans Tuesday. We close off the area downstairs and it's a safe space for trans people and non-binary folk to get together and find that community that many need.

"We also offer the space for other community groups. Neuro Pride is going to be here for an event for neurodivergent folk on the LGBTQ+ spectrum."

They added: "We're not forcing people to buy anything. If they just want to sit and chat or even just get out of the rain, they're very welcome to do so.

"We were here last summer so people are coming back. Obviously last year was very different when Grafton Street had just reopened, but now we have much more footfall and now we're doing very well on an engagement level."

Some of the items you will find in the Pride Hub include t-shirts, a variety of different pride flags, badges, bags, locally made art and pride-themed jewellery.

The official Dublin Pride Festival kicks off on June 22 with a host of community events taking place for its duration, including the 2022 Dublin Pride Parade on Saturday, June 25.
