Colorado wildfire has burned over 100 acres, no structures lost

DENVER — A wildfire burning north of Lyons in Larimer County is 30% contained and 100 firefighters were working on the fire on Saturday morning.

The 37E fire has burned about 114 acres, according to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office. The acreage number was reduced from Friday’s figure after better overnight mapping and the use of aircraft.

“No known structures have been lost” to the fire, the sheriff’s office said on Saturday. The fire started on Friday afternoon in the Blue Mountain area.

Voluntary evacuation for residents from Chimney Hollow Road east to County Road 31 and north to Sprague has been lifted, the sheriff’s office said. Residents living in that area may return home and are under no restrictions.
