What’s Going To Happen
The Utah State offense should go ballistic.
Jordan Love and the attack have been magnificent, pushing Wake Forest early on in a loss, and surviving the slugfest in a great win over San Diego State on the road. Now the Aggies get to face a defense that’s not stopping anyone.
The secondary was able to hold down Toledo’s passing game, but that’s because the defensive front was getting ripped up for 436 yards. Utah State will be able to move the ball however it wants to.
The Ram passing game is more than fine with Nebraska transfer Patrick O’Brien looking great with a 405-yard day against the Rockets, and Utah State’s secondary will give up big yards.
However, the Aggie offensive line will be a rock, the O will put up well over 500 yards, and in a fun firefight – the opposite of the USU-SDSU game last weekend – Love and company will pull away in the second half.
