Colombia is reportedly considering recalling its ambassador to the U.S. after a picture taken at the Oval Office showed a document with an AI picture with President Gustavo Petro wearing an orange jumpsuit.

France24 reported that the picture appeared in a document that featured the seal of U.S. Senator Bernie Moreno, who was born in Colombia and is a staunch detractor of Petro's government. The official holding the document is James Blair, the White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Legislative, Political and Public Affairs.

Colombian magazine Cambio, which first reported the image, also claimed that a text along with the picture read "The Trump doctrine." The outlet claimed that the document details steps needed to capture Petro, including "designating other cartels as terrorist organizations" and "initiate a thorough investigation about Petro's campaign and foreign financing."

Colombian Deputy Foreign Minister Mauricio Jaramillo said the government considered recalling the ambassador "due to the gravity of the revelations made in the press." A final decision has not been made, with Foreign Minister Rosa Yolanda Villavicencio saying the government intends to "keep good relations with the U.S."

"It is clear to us that we want to maintain cordiality despite the differences and avoid all these debates taking place in public so we can have a direct dialogue," she added.

Petro, on his end, has been repeatedly slamming the Trump administration over its military campaign in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific, most recently warning it to not "wake up the jaguar."

Petro made the claim during a public speech, saying "I would tell (Donald) Trump and (Marco) Rubio to beware." "You are going through the Liberators' Caribbean, you are messing with the land of Bolivar. Have you not read its history? You are coming into lands where farmers armed with spheres defeated the most powerful armies in the world. The Spaniards of the king and the Frenchmen of the Republic. And they failed," he added.

"Beware. There are people in the Caribbean that have always been used to hurricanes and can unleash themselves like one. Like the legend goes, 'if the golden eagle attacks the condor, the American people's jaguar awakens.' Don't awaken the jaguar. We can still talk. South America can save the U.S. by cleaning up its energetic grid," Petro added.
