Collin Morikawa made some incredible history with his British Open victory

Collin Morikawa stormed past Louis Oosthuizen on Sunday to win the 2021 British Open (or The Open Championship, if you want to be official) with a brilliant 4-under, 66 final round that not only gave him the Claret Jug but also gave him some really cool history in the game of golf.

It’s also some history that nobody, inlcuding the GOAT, Tiger Woods, has pulled off.

Morikawa, who is just 24 years old, is now the only player ever to win two different majors in his debuts in those tournaments. He won the 2020 PGA Championship at Harding Park and then he won Sunday at Royal St. George’s in his first appearance at The Open Championship.
