Following the success of the June 2020 Virtual Open Day, West Lothian College is holding their first ever Live Virtual Open Day next month.
Feedback from the open day last June said participants loved the chance to find out about the college and courses but missed the live element of the event and the ability to ask questions face to face. In light of this feedback the college will be hosting the open day live through Microsoft Teams.
This means participants at the event on February 3 will be able to meet lecturers from their area of interest, ask any questions you have and find out more information about your subject of choice right there and then.
They will also get a virtual campus tour on the day and hear from the admissions, student funds and Student Association teams.
All you have to do is choose the subject area you are interested in studying and register for the time that suits you, you can even register for multiple subject areas if you are unsure.
The sessions will be held one-to-one with the subject lecturer so you will get an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

Vice principal for performance and improvement at West Lothian College, Simon Earp, said the forthcoming event is already proving to be popular.
He added: “Our last event was such a great success but the one thing that was missing was the live element, the ability to ask questions directly to a lecturer on the course you’re interested in.
“With this new open day you’ll be able to do just that, and we hope all prospective students will get involved and take full advantage of the event. Demand for our courses is very high since they launched in December so I’d recommend if you’re interested in taking a course to register for the open day and apply on-line as soon as possible.”
