College Student Missing After Leaving Nashville Bar

Shooting at Charles University in Prague

Authorities in Tennessee are currently searching for a 22-year-old college student who disappeared after leaving a downtown Nashville bar 10 days ago. Riley Strain, a student at the University of Missouri, was on a weekend trip to Nashville when he was asked to leave Luke’s 32 Bridge, a bar owned by country singer Luke Bryan. Strain has not been in contact with friends and family since March 8, and police efforts to locate him have been unsuccessful.

According to reports, Strain was last seen leaving Luke’s 32 Bridge alone after purchasing one alcoholic drink and two waters. The bar's security team escorted him out of the venue due to concerns about his behavior. Despite one member of his party following him downstairs, they did not exit the building with him.

Described as 6 foot 5 inches tall with a thin build, blue eyes, and light brown hair, Strain was last spotted on Gay St. at 9:52 p.m. on the night of his disappearance. The University of Missouri confirmed that Strain was in Nashville for a private event and stated that they are cooperating with authorities in the search efforts.

As the search continues, police have focused on the area near the Cumberland River, where Strain's bank card was discovered on the embankment. Despite efforts to locate him using his cell phone data, no significant leads have been found. The Tennessee Alcohol and Beverage Commission has also launched an investigation into the incident, as there are no specific regulations regarding handling intoxicated patrons.

Family members expressed deep concern over Strain's disappearance, emphasizing that his lack of communication is highly unusual. The community is urged to come forward with any information that may assist in locating Riley Strain and bringing him home safely.
