Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. (SPA)

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, approved on Monday naming the College of Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technologies after his name, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

The facility, which is still under construction, will be called the Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz College of Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technologies.

Prince Mohammed’s approval followed a proposal submitted by the Chairman of the Saudi Federation for Cyber Security, Programming and Drones Saud bin Abdullah Al-Qahtani, who extended thanks to the Crown Prince.

He said that his approval represents a gesture of his interest in supporting Saudi workers in this vital domain.

For his part, the Acting Dean of the College Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Dahlawi expressed his gratitude to Prince Mohammed for accepting the proposal.
