On Saturday, Oklahoma lost to Oklahoma State in an absolute thriller between two bitter rivals.
On Sunday, the Sooners reportedly lost their coach, Lincoln Riley, who is headed to Los Angeles where he will become the next head coach of the USC Trojans.
Riley said after Saturday’s loss that he wasn’t going to be the next coach of the LSU Tigers… and he wasn’t lying, because he must have known this was going to play out today.
It’s a huge hire for the Trojans, who haven’t been relevant on the national level in a while. Now with Riley in charge they should be able to get back to being a constant force in the Pac-12 and perennial contenders in the CFB playoffs.
Lincoln Riley is NOT going to Baton Rouge or staying in Norman.
