College Football Playoff pairings revealed: Georgia’s in

Luckily for Georgia, the Bulldogs entered Saturday’s SEC Championship Game with a mulligan thanks to its 12-0 record.

Despite losing to Alabama in embarrassing fashion in Atlanta, Georgia is still one of the four teams to make it into the College Football Playoff.

The committee released its top-four on Sunday:

Alabama
Michigan
Georgia
Cincinnati

This means Georgia will be playing Michigan in Miami from the Orange Bowl. Alabama and Cincinnati will meet in Arlington for the Cotton Bowl.

The games will take place on New Year’s Eve.

The winners of each semifinal game will meet in Indianapolis on Monday, January 10 for the national championship.
