College Football News has Ohio State football going 10-2 in 2019 with losses to …

Everyone that has a computer and keyboard these days is throwing out preseason previews and predictions for the upcoming 2019 college football season. And if you’ve been around long enough, Pete Fiutak of College Football News is a good follow and good read. He’s not just a keyboard warrior with time on his hands.

Fiutak puts out his annual predictions for every team in college football, and he’s already made the rounds for Ohio State and win totals for the entire Big Ten slate of teams. So how does he project the Buckeyes in 2019?

He has the Scarlet and Gray winning ten games and losing two. The two losses? Michigan State at home, and the Wolverines on the road.

I’ll pause there.

That might not be music to OSU fans’ ears, but Fiutak believes there will be a slight drop off with the retirement of Urban Meyer and the transition from Dwayne Haskins to Justin Fields.

Fiutak heaps praise on Ohio State with a Big Ten Championship or bust with all the talent still stockpiled in Columbus, but still has OSU going down to both Michigan schools.

I don’t know that I’m sold on either of those teams being better than the Buckeyes when all the shouting stops, but of course either could derail things for a team going through some pretty significant transitions.

Here’s the complete win/loss table for Ohio State from College Football News:
