A college football season expected to be unlike any other officially kicks off on Saturday night. Though dozens of major college football programs will not be playing this fall, several conferences have decided to push forward and stage games – and we are now in “Week Zero.”
In the only game on the schedule this weekend, Austin Peay will face Central Arkansas at the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Alabama. A limited amount of fans will be allowed to attend, and spectators will be required to socially distance themselves.
Austin Peay vs. Central Arkansas will begin at 9:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.

When do major college football conferences start?
The ACC will open play on Thursday, September 10th.
The Big 12 will start non-conference games on September 12th, and conference play will begin on September 26th.
The SEC pushed back the start of its fall schedule a few weeks, and will now start on September 26th.
The Pac-12 has postponed all fall sports. The Big Ten has also postponed fall sports, but there has been opposition to that decision from players and parents. The Big Ten is reportedly exploring options for a late 2020 start.
