We’re heading into Week Three of college football. LSU and Texas lived up to the hype, while traditional powers like Florida State, Tennessee and Nebraska continue to struggle to live up to expectations. This week, we start with No. 19 Iowa visiting rival Iowa State, No. 2 Alabama taking on South Carolina and No. 9 Florida looks for revenge against Kentucky from Lexington.

In college football Week 3:
*Williams-Brice Stadium will be rocking in Columbia, South Carolina as Alabama makes a rare appearance. The last time these teams played was in 2010 and the No. 1 Crimson Tide was upset, 35-21. That won’t happen in this game, however, the Gamecocks are getting too many points and they’ll cover the nearly four touchdown spread.
* Iowa hasn’t lost to Iowa State since 2014, but this is a dangerous team. The Cyclones have a week to prepare, however, they needed overtime to edge FCS Northern Iowa in their opener and Iowa has looked dominant in a 2-0 start. They are only a 2.5-point favorite and that’s a scary line, but the Hawkeyes are the better team. Lay the points.
*No. 9 Florida is looking for revenge against Kentucky, but they are laying 8 points. That’s a lot against a Wildcats team that seems to be overlooked every season. They’ve won five straight games going back to last season. Take the points at home.
