Colleagues of missing Ross Taylor have been 'out in vans' helping search for him

More than a dozen colleagues of missing Dalkeith man Ross Taylor have been "out in vans" helping search for him.

The 30-year-old father of three hasn't been seen since going missing from his home in Mayfield on Sunday.

Police held a press conference earlier today where his partner Laura D'Arcy made an emotional plea for his return while holding their six month old son Lewis.

And police chief inspector Arron Clinkscales explained that the Mayfield community have come together to join the search – with 16 of Ross' colleagues from SSE travelling around in vans to help look for him.

He said: "We have had Tweed Valley Mountain Rescue out helping us with their extensive search teams, drone teams and search dogs. We also have our own Police Scotland specialist resources out searching together with our police dogs, police helicopter and search and rescue helicopter."
