Collapsed manhole lid set to cause delays in Nottingham city centre

A collapsed manhole lid is set to cause traffic delays in a busy Nottingham street.

The issue is at the bottom of Maid Marian Way at the junction with Greyfriar Gate, in lane two.

Nottingham City Council says that moderate delays are to be expected.

This comes off the back of further delays that were announced on Maid Marian Way yesterday with the closure of a bus lane.

The bus lane from Castle Gate junction to the Broadmarsh exit ramp will be closed while Western Power Distribution conducts cable diversion works.

These works are scheduled to finish next Friday (November 26).
