Colin Jost reveals ‘too ridiculous’ Hegseth sketch became reality

  • Last month, Hegseth delivered a sermon at the Pentagon where he quoted a passage he identified as Ezekiel 25:17, but which was actually from the cult-classic movie.
  • Hegseth's prayer, which he called "CSAR 25:17," closely mirrored the lines spoken by Samuel L. Jackson's character, Jules Winnfield, in Quentin Tarantino's 1994 film.
  • The actual biblical passage, Ezekiel 25:17, differs significantly from the fictionalized version Hegseth recited.
