Colin Hendry to discuss Scotland's Euro 2020 chances live with Record Sport

As Scotland get set to return to a major tournament for the first time in 23 years, we're all relishing the trips down memory lane with people who have been there and done it all before.

And who better to tell us what it's like than the man who led Scotland out the last time they were on the big stage?

That's right, Colin Hendry will be going on Facebook Live with Record Sport on Friday to regale us with tales of years gone by.

The former national captain will join Fraser Wilson and Michael Gannon for a chat at 11.45am that will surely get us in the mood for the big Euro 2020 on Monday afternoon - not that we need help firing ourselves up.

Hendry's Scotland career was the stuff of legends.

The big skipper famously got the better of the famous Ronaldo in a clash against Brazil at France 98, though the Scots came out on the losing end that day thanks to a Tom Boyd own goal.

He was also in amongst it at Euro 96, where Scotland took on the Auld Enemy (deja vu anyone?) and came to within a couple of goals scored of reaching the knockout phase.

The big man is sure to be cheering on Steve Clarke 's boys next week as they look to go one step further than any Scotland team in history has gone before.

And you can hear what he's got to say via Record Sport's Facebook page from 11.45am on Friday, June 11.
