Former Scotland star Colin Hendry has hilariously responded to an England supporter who recreated Paul Gascoigne's famous Euro 96 goal with a brutal putdown.
Rangers legend Gazza lifted the ball over Hendry's head before smashing into the back of the net in a tournament where England reached the semi-final before crashing out.
More than 20 years later, our friends across the border are reliving their glorious failure and one supporter decided to recreate the goal scored by Gascoigne.
Hendry slipped as Gazza lifted it over him and is often reminded of them by England supporters with Scotland going out in the group stage.
But he had a superb comeback as twitter user Alex Taylor posted a video where he lifts the ball over a female - who also has long blonde locks just like Hendry in his pomp - before smashing into an empty net.
He tweeted to say: "Bit excited about this tournament! Can you tell @England @ITV4 @itvhub @ThreeLionsGoals #Euro96Relived"
But Hendry had a brilliant comeback as he quoted the tweet to say: "F**ksake .... Did I really look that fit in the day?????"
That left supporters in stitches with @Thommo_12 saying: “Superb Colin.”
@Bam75Barry added: “You did have braw hair”
@dannymetcalfe6 said: “Some effort that big man ahahaha”
