Colin Farrell may be an A-list Hollywood star, but he is clearly a man of simple taste.
The star was recently spotted shopping in a supermarket on Achill Island, and there was one item in his shopping basket that caught everyone's eye.
The Castleknock man was spotted picking up Birds Eye Potato Waffles while stopping to take a photo with a local woman.
While most Hollywood actors stock up on protein and kale for their dinner, Colin's humble box of frozen waffles has delighted Irish twitter users.
One person commented: "I am not sure why this brings me so much joy, but Colin Farrell buying Birds Eye Potato Waffles on Achill just makes me so happy"
Another wrote: "The most important question, is that brown or red sauce behind the bread."
Colin is currently on the Mayo island filming his latest movie The Banshees of Inisherin.
The film is written and directed by Oscar winner Martin McDonagh. The film will see Colin reunite with his In Bruges co-star Brendan Gleeson.
The movie will explore life in a rural community while examining a friendship under strain.
Actor Barry Keoghan also announced that he would also be making an appearance in the movie.
