Colin Duffy son dead at 19 in devastating road crash

The son of dissident republican Colin Duffy has died following a two vehicle crash in Co Antrim.

Seanna Duffy, 19, succumbed to his injuries following the incident which happened at 10.20am on Saintfield Rd, Lisburn.

Police are investigating the collision which happened between the car Seanna Duffy was travelling in and a tanker lorry.

His aunt, Mandy Duffy posted a tribute to her nephew and details on-line.

And Funeral Times reported: "Lurgan, July 14th 2019 suddenly as result of an accident. Séanna dearly beloved son of Colin and Martine 30 Forest Glade Lurgan. RIP. Much loved brother of Caitriona, Aimee, Sinead, Oisin and Fionntan and loving uncle to Braeden and Séanna.

"Funeral arrangements later. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

"Very deeply regretted by his loving father, mother, sisters, brothers, nephews and entire family circle."
