Colin Cowherd places Rockets among 10 most annoying things in sports

With the Houston Rockets run in the 2019 playoffs coming to a more disappointing end than initially thought possible thanks the Golden State Warriors closing them out in the Western Conference Semifinals without Kevin Durant, everyone is getting their shots in.

Among them is FS1 host Colin Cowherd, who took it upon himself to rank the 10 most annoying things in sports on Monday.

Items featured on the list are golfers who take forever to hit the ball (very true), icing kickers in football (huh?) and the NBA Officiating Last Two Minute Reports (decent point). He even threw himself under the bus when ranking the media second on this list.

But chief among Cowherd’s list were the Houston Rockets:

I found myself Friday rooting for the Warriors. The flopping, the complaining, the obsessive leaked memo to the NBA office. Demanding more free throws when they led the NBA in free throws. Ya know, the flopping stuff. Chris Paul’s become a different guy. I mean, come on. The Houston Rockets went into this playoff series believing they were going to win at the free-throw line and the NBA said, ‘No, no, no. We’re not going to have a series determined at the free-throw stripe. We’re not going to give all these regular season calls.’

(Yes, Cowherd mentioned flopping twice in his rant.)

Ultimately, this list can’t be taken too seriously because anyone who’s dealt with a slow golfer knows there’s nothing more unbearable in the world of sports.
