Coleraine confirm Curtis Allen's permanent move to Showgrounds

Coleraine have confirmed Curtis Allen's permanent move to the Showgrounds.

Allen had initially joined the Bannsiders on a six-month loan deal from Glentoran back in January.

The 32-year-old has now signed a two-year contract with the Premiership runners-up, who he joins for a second spell after previously being with the club from 2011-13.

“Obviously Curtis has already been here for six months but we are delighted that he has agreed a permanent switch,” manager Oran Kearney told Coleraine's website.

“He is a proven goalscorer, he is in good shape and is hungry to kick on and make an impact.

“The lockdown was probably a frustrating time for him as he didn’t get to feature in the Irish Cup, but he is now a Coleraine player and will be available for Europe.

“I have always had a good relationship with Curtis and I’m looking forward to continuing working with him.”
