Coleraine boss Oran Kearney reveals dream tie in next round of Europa League

Coleraine manager Oran Kearney is dreaming of the San Siro after beating Maribor in the Europa League.

Kearney's Bannsiders caused an almighty shock in Slovenia on Thursday night to book their place in the second qualifying round of the competition.

They went the distance with a side who have reached the group stages of the Champions League on three occasions, eventually winning 5-4 on penalties following a 1-1 draw after extra-time.

The draw for the second qualifying round will be made on Monday in Nyon, Switzerland.

And there are some huge ties lying in wait.

Some of the potential opponents for Kearney and Coleraine include Jose Mourinho's Tottenham and Steven Gerrard's Rangers.

But the one Kearney would love is a trip to Italian giants AC Milan.

He tweeted after Thursday night's win: "PROUD!! What a bunch, character hanging out of these guys, memorable night! San Siro next please!"

As well as qualifying for the next stage of the competition, Coleraine have also pocketed in the region of £644,000 for their exploits in Europe.

That's for qualifying in the first place, and then beating La Fiorita in the preliminary round and seeing off Maribor in the first round.
