Coleen Rooney opens up on reality of homeschooling kids

Coleen Rooney has shared the reality of homeschooling as she opened up about the experience.

However, a new study suggests lockdowns increased stress issues in parents and carers.

Parents reported elevated levels of stress in the spring, which then reduced in the summer, before peaking again in November and December, according to the data from the University of Oxford.

In total, more than 6,000 parents were questioned for the survey, which asked them about various concerns to do with their own lives and their children's wellbeing between April and December 2020.

Last September Mum-of-four Coleen shared a snap of her three oldest sons Kai, Klay and Kit in their uniforms as they started a new school year.

The three boys all looked smart, with Kai in his high school uniform and Klay and Kit in their primary school outfits.

She tweeted to her 1.2million followers: "This homeschooling is draining."

Fans replied back saying they felt the same as they wished her good luck.

Viki tweeted: "Yep, we certainly didn’t sign up for this when having kids. It does confirm however I will never be a teacher."

Siobhan said: "Don’t get too downhearted. I’m a teacher and I know how hard it can be. Just do your best, even an hour a day will help the boys to keep up."

Gail added: "It's torture, send wine and chocolate."

And Jay said: "Yup! Even though their teachers are doing online classes it’s still constant..."
