Coleen Rooney jets into Ireland and climbs Craogh Patrick with family

Coleen Rooney has jetted into Ireland for an activity based holiday with her family, RSVPLive reports.

The mum-of-four and wife of Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney, headed west to Mayo to climb Croagh Patrick as the temperatures continue to soar this month.

Sharing two pictures from the top of the mountain, she said: "Lovely visit to Ireland with the family.

"Great experience climbing Croagh Patrick for the second time."

This is not the first time she has climbed to the top of the famous holy mountain near the town of Westport as Coleen also visited the area on another occasion.

As a famous pilgrimage site, many devout catholics take on the mountain in their bare feet.

One follower asked: "Did you do it in bare feet?" before Coleen revealed that her father actually took on the challenge without shoes.

Coleen and Wayne currently live in Washington D.C where he plays for Major League Soccer side D.C. United.

The couple, who have been married for 11 years, have four kids together.
