Coleen Rooney has surprising message for Liverpool FC ahead of Champions League final

Coleen Rooney had a surprising message for Liverpool FC ahead of the Champions League final in Madrid.

The 33-year-old tweeted out to her 1.25million followers "Good luck Liverpool FC", followed by a red heart emoji and two hands clapping.

But some may be shocked at her tweet given that her hubby, Wayne, is a former Everton FC and Manchester United player.

In fact, some even pointed it out, confused as to why she would be supporting the team as they prepare to take on Tottenham at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium in the Spanish capital.

When one of her followers replied: "Don't think Wayne will be too happy about this", she said: "Haha, can’t change what you got born into and brought up with!! Scouse Family of Reds!!!"

Another said: "I hope Wayne doesn’t see this Coleen", while another posted a gif of Wayne in his Everton kit wagging his finger.

Many asked the mum-of-four to delete the tweet, with one even tagging Wayne in asking him to "sort it out".

But, we know from experience that outspoken Coleen will tell everyone what she thinks and won't care about what people think, so we can't see her taking it down and Liverpool fans loved her support with it being liked over 300 times.

One replied: "Fair play to you...rising above it."

Another said: "So are u secretly a LFC fan?. Thanks anyway... YNWA LFC4LIFE"
