Coleen Rooney gushes over son Kit in heartwarming birthday post as he turns 5

Coleen Rooney celebrated her son Kit turning five with a sweet Instagram post to mark the big day.

The doting mum-of-four, 34, rushed to social media to wish her sweet boy a happy birthday as she shared a string of adorable snaps of her and husband Wayne, as well as their four boys.

The first snap showed her and Wayne, 35, beam from ear-to-ear as they held Kit.

The following snap shows the aspiring footballer pose in his football kit with a stunning display of balloons next to him.

Going along with the football theme, Kit was treated to a massive football tiered cake and a personalised background of football jerseys with his name on them.

Coleen and Wayne also organised a dreamy sleepover for their four boys Kai, 11, Klay, seven, Kit, five, and little Cass.

Each of their kids had their own teepee with their name on it as they watched a film on the big screen.

Alongside the adorable snaps, proud Coleen penned: "Happy 5th Birthday to our Kit. We love you all the world xxx."

Last month, Coleen and Wayne treated their boys to a Lapland UK visit.

Coleen kicked off the festivities with a jaunt to Lapland UK with her boys to make sure they could all meet Father Christmas before the big day.

The family headed off for a visit to Whitmoor Forest in Ascot, Berkshire, which boasts the Christmas-themed wonderland tucked away between the trees.

There they got to enjoy the themed experience's Enchanted Forest, the Toy Factory and Mother Christmas' Kitchen, as well as the Elven Village and a magical post office where they could write a letter to Father Christmas.
