Coleen Rooney made the long journey back to Liverpool after living in Washington DC for the year.
The WAG and her husband Wayne moved to Washington last year for a fresh start - taking their children with them.
Despite now living in America the family have visited the UK several times, including Christmas last year.
But the Aintree Queen is firmly back in Liverpool and yesterday she took her family on a day trip to New Brighton.
The mum, dressed in jeans, trainers and a tracksuit top, proved she hasn't forgotten her roots as she gushed about the region.
Posting a picture outside The New Palace and Adventureland, Coleen said: "Loved today. Been going to New Brighton since I can remember."
Prior to her return to Liverpool, Coleen made a quick pit-stop in Ibiza for a girls' holiday.
She visited Formentera and relaxed on a luxury yacht with friends.
Coleen also enjoyed a trip to Ireland, where she climbed Croagh Patrick.
